Opening Activities / Setting the Stage
Activity 1: Asynchronous lesson:
LE4 a. I ensure that at least 90% of what I say and/or materials I share with my students are in the target language. c. I use a variety of strategies to make language comprehensible. PF2 b. I provide feedback that is close in time to demonstrated performance.
Teacher starts the lesson by short video about the key words. Students listen to the video from minutes 1:30 to 3:45 minute.
After the video the teacher introduces the active words and repeat them .
Teacher share the video from 4:20 to 6:10 to revise the words a second time in a song.
Teacher shares the picture cards give students few seconds to guess the words, then the words related to them. Teacher will introduce the letter Sa and Ta.
Homework, students will read the words and match it with the meaning and the transilitation.

ACTIVITY 2: SYNCHRONOUS LESSON:
PF2A provide my students with frequent descriptive feedback
Teacher will share a PowerPoint presentation through Hangout.
1.As a warm up activity, we will revise the key word from last week lesson by listening to sound of means of transportation and guess what it is.
2.Students will look at pictures and match them with the right vocabulary words.
3. Teacher will share 3 pictures of the new vocabulary word, one at a time, say the word, Student will listen and repeat the new vocabulary words: Hantoor, Hesan, Jamal, then watch a youtube on each animal. You tube related to the Arabic countries.
4.The teacher asks the students to repeat the key words again , then note a new letter:H to the students.
5.The teacher asks the students Yes/No questions related to the verb ride. Did you ride a horse? Yes/No
6 Exercise:Students match pictures with words, students participate and shares their answers.
7.Student as an interpretive assessment send a homework document to the teacher that includes words that have the letter: H, T, and S
8.the second homework, is a formative assessment in the presentation mode: students to got voice thread and record the answer to the question: Which Arabic country/ countries has camels and why?
